New online training supports healthcare organizations to meet federal requirements and prepare workforces for active federal oversight

Chicago, IL, September 10, 2026, Sept. 10, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Sequoia Project, the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), and HCPro today announced the launch of a new role-specific online training series designed to help healthcare organizations build workforce-wide compliance with the federal information blocking rule, which prohibits interference with the access, exchange, or use of electronic health information and applies to the daily behaviors of staff across every department that touches patient data.
